Case of seven rejected votes

After defeat in Senateelections, PDM has decided to go to court on the rejection of seven votes of his joint candidate Sayed Youssef Raza Gillani. 98 votes were cast in the election of chairman Senate. Government candidate Sadiq sanjrani got 48 while on the another handPDM joint candidate Gillani got 42 votes. Sadiq sanjrani won and became chairman Senate. Total 8 votes were rejected. PDM seven while one vote of government candidate was rejected.

At the time of counting, Presidingofficer Muzafar Hussain Shahsaid;Voters stamped on the name of candidate instead of inbox. Because of this, these sevenvotes will be considered declinature.While one vote of government candidate also was rejected because voter stamped in the both candidate inboxes. After election when presiding officer was talking to media he said; PDM voters destroyed their votes knowingly. If they think that decision was not correct then they can go to Court.

After defeat, opposition leader Raja Parveez Ashraf in joint press conference said; It is condemnable that despite majority our candidate has been defeated.He claimed that in court Gillani will win. Former prime minister and opposition leader Raja Parveez Ashraf said; Govt used everyway and method to steal election. General secretary PML(N) said; Today, PDM has been successful. He said our candidate got 49 vote but he has been defeated by rejection of seven votes. During press conference “Ahsan Iqbal” red previous decisions of courts and said; Supreme Court decisions say that to stamp on the name of candidate mean vote is correct. Because voter’s intention is correct.

After elections, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that election has been stolen. He said, after meeting, we decided to go to court. He added that we have proofs that secretary Senate is telling to our voters that they can stamp anywhere in the box. It is open case I hope we will get justice. Other than that PPP leader said, Opposition can bring the moment of no-confidence.

But on the another hand govt ministers are attacking worldly on PDM.

Opposition believes that Election commission is responsible instead of their voters for seven rejected votes. IfPDM go to court for rejected votes of chairman then, What will PDM do on Deputy chairmanelection?
