Amna Ilyas tests positive for Covid-19
While the third wave of the pandemic is taking its toll, many celebrities are falling prey to the novel coronavirus. The most recent has been the model-cum-actor Amna Ilyas.

The starlet announced the news on Instagram, confirming that she had been diagnosed with coronavirus. “I’ve tested positive for Covid-19,” began Ilyas in her post. “I urge everyone who was around me and in close proximity during the past week, please get yourself tested.”

Furthermore, she posted a video asking her rumored beau Dawar Mehmood to get tested at all costs and for fellow fans and followers to follow all SOPs, consider getting vaccinated and staying safe at all times. Other celebrities and public figures such as Nadia Hussain, Sheheryar Munawar, Hassan Rizvi, Tariq Amin and Maira Khan dropped well wishes and prayers in the comment section, along with fans who are praying for her speedy recovery.
Just recently, Ilyas was in the news for schooling social media trolls after a picture a picture of herself in a sari went viral for all the wrong reasons. She had said, “I had to rewrite my caption because I’m tired of thinking why my cleavage is the only thing being discussed in the comments.”
The Baaji star went on, “You all don’t like my hair and makeup, gajra, earrings, or the embroidery on the blouse?”
