Prime Minister Imran Khan has some words of wisdom for Pakistan’s youth while in quarantine
From monthly book recommendations to endorsing his favourite television shows or his speeches, Prime Minister Imran Khan is no stranger to sharing insights with Pakistan’s youth.
In fact, they’re often his target audience in his speeches and tweets.
The premier is currently spending time in isolation after contracting the coronavirus along with the First Lady and has once again taken to Twitter to write a message for the country’s youth.
“Do not sell your soul in exchange of anything. This is the only thing you have brought into this world and the only thing you can take back,” he quoted Rumi.
“A truly free, liberated and rich human being is one whose soul is priceless — beyond any material price. Dedicated to the youth of Pakistan,” he added.
The prime minister is known to be a Rumi lover and has often shared his quotes before.

He previously encouraged the public to read The Forty Rules of Love — a novel that narrates the tales of Maulana Jalal-Ud-Din (Rumi) and his companion Shams Tabrizi.
“I read it a few years back and was deeply inspired,” he had said, hoping young people could take something from it too.
