Prince Harry feels “liberated” after quitting royal life and believes moving to the US “is the best decision he’s ever made”, it is claimed.
The Duke of Sussex, 36, is now living in California with wife Meghan Markle, 39, and their son Archie, one.
He and the Duchess of Sussex took the decision to leave the Firm in March 2020 before officially confirming the plans earlier this year.
A source has now claimed that the prince “does not have any regrets” about his actions and is forging ahead with his new life.
The unnamed insider told Us Weekly : “Harry finds the situation with his family regrettable.
“But he says [they have] no regrets about moving … and that things are just getting started for them.
“[He] feels liberated and excited about starting this new chapter.”
Harry and Meghan appear to have embraced life away from the monarchy, with a second baby on the way this summer.
The prince has already landed an executive role at a mental health business while the pair have signed mega deals with Netflix and Spotify.
The couple are living in a multi-million dollar mansion in Montecito, a community popular with celebrities.
They count Oprah Winfrey, 67, as one of their neighbours – it was Oprah who chaired the bombshell interview which rocked the royals last month.
The explosive sit-down saw Meghan claim she had been asked about the colour of her unborn child by an unnamed family member.
This revelation shocked the world – although the former ‘Suits’ actress declined to reveal the person’s identity.
Harry and Meghan made several other allegations in the interview, which Buckingham Palace later said would be addressed “privately”.
The company’s CEO declined to reveal Harry’s salary or working hours, but did say the prince would not use royal titles in the office.
It has also been reported that Harry and Meghan plan to take some time off after the birth of their second child.
Sources told Vanity Fair that the couple want to “take leave” and spend “proper time together as a family”.
The pair are also said to be planning for a home birth.
