China begins construction of third 054A frigate for Pak Navy

Pertaining to the construction of a third 054A frigate that China has started for the Pakistan Navy, a ceremony was held at Hudong Zhonghua Shipyard on Saturday.

Turkey meanwhile has also started construction of a second Milgem Class Corvette warship for the Pakistan Navy.

A Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said both the ships will be laced with modern technology & equipment and sensors.

Moreover, the spokesperson said that China’s initiative will further strengthen the country’s maritime defence and help maintain balance of power in the region.
