Pakistan has developed into an economic powerhouse

Cheng Xizhong, a visiting professor at Southwest University of Political Science and Law, stated on Tuesday that Pakistan’s national strategy has shifted from geopolitics to geo-economy, and the country has become an economic hub, focused on economic security and connectivity.

Pakistan is now strongly devoted to peaceful coexistence and constructive multilateralism in order to achieve win-win results. Pakistan’s outlook and trajectory have changed dramatically. According to Prof. Cheng, who is also a senior fellow at the Charhar Institute and a former Chinese Defence Attaché in South Asian countries, Pakistan is working for peace, prosperity, and connectedness in the region, if not the entire world.

He also mentioned that Pakistan has been on the rise in recent years.
