ISLAMABAD: During his day-long visit to Lahore, Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet with members of the Punjab Assembly, according to the PM Office (today).
In the provincial capital, the prime minister will address Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers.
Imran Khan is continue in office following the dissolution of the National Assembly until a caretaker prime minister is appointed under Article 224 A (4) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Imran Khan suggested Gulzar Ahmed, the former Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), as the interim Prime Minister of Pakistan on April 4.
Imran Khan had offered the deal, according to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, in a tweet.
