Imran Khan acknowledges filing a complaint against Justice Isa was a blunder

PTI Chairman Imran Khan stated in a meeting with the Insaf Lawyers Forum (ILF) that filing the presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa was a “mistake.”

The situation was brought to Imran Khan’s notice by the party’s attorneys, who asked him if filing a presidential reference against Justice Isa was a mistake, to which the PTI chairman concurred and labelled it a mistake, according to individuals familiar with the discussion.

“We stressed to our party chairman that instead of taking such a strong stance against Justice Qazi Faez Isa, we should have taken a moderate ground, since a confrontation with state institutions or individuals who are part of them is dangerous.”
