Government has decided to fire PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja.

According to sources, the coalition administration has decided to fire PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja, who was appointed during the time of ex-prime minister Imran Khan.

According to sources, PM Shahbaz, who is also the patron-in-chief of PCB, will nominate two names to the Board of Governors for the future chairman of the board.

The PM is expected to select former PCB chief Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh, according Pakistani sources.

Raja, on the other hand, had called PCB employees earlier today to inform them that he had received a “green light” from the government to begin working.

“I’ve been told to keep working as chairman of the PCB,” Raja told PCB staffers. “We should now concentrate on our work.”
