One terrorist is killed by security troops in North Waziristan.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), one terrorist was killed in a firefight in North Waziristan District on Tuesday.
According to the military media wing, the firefight took place in the general region of Datta Khel, North Waziristan District, between security personnel and militants.
According to the announcement, “terrorist Fareed Ahmed was killed during an intensive exchange of fire.”
According to ISPR, firearms and ammunition were also retrieved from the deceased terrorist, who was still actively engaged in terrorist actions against security personnel.
The residents in the neighbourhood praised the operation and pledged their complete support for eradicating the threat of terrorism in the area.
Two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Sunday.
Weapons and ammunition were also discovered from the deceased terrorists, Khalil and Ahsan aka Deva.
According to the security forces, Khalil was a specialist at manufacturing suicide jacks and landmines. The assassinated terrorists were engaged in the deaths of five police officers on April 11, as well as attacks on anti-polio squads and extortion.
Seven troops were martyred on April 15, while four militants were slain in a fight in North Waziristan.
