Elon Musk is considering a buyout offer for Twitter.
Elon Musk poked fun at Twitter on Thursday as he awaits a firm decision on whether or not the company will accept or reject his acquisition offer.
Now he’s considering whether to launch a tender offer to buy all outstanding shares of Twitter’s common stock, bringing up the board’s rejection of his $54.20 per share bid to take the social media giant private.
Musk has obtained promises of around $46.5 billion to help finance a potential deal, according to the statement, which was revealed in an amended filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.
In remarketing purchasing, Twitter shares improved by 0.8 percent.
