With a 116-108 home victory, James Harden helped the Philadelphia 76ers square their NBA Eastern Conference semi-final series against Miami at 2-2.

Harden put up 31 points in an “amazing” performance, according to teammate Danny Green.

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers continued to impress after returning from an eye injury and concussion.

With a 111-101 victory over the top-seeded Phoenix Suns, the Dallas Mavericks knotted their best-of-seven series.

The Mavericks won their second game of the Western Conference playoffs at home, and they will play game five in Phoenix on Tuesday, when the Sixers play in Miami.

In Philadelphia, Embiid scored 24 points while wearing a protective mask, and Green praised his teammate, adding, “Without him, we wouldn’t be here.”

Embiid made an early impression with 15 points in the opening quarter, but Harden picked up the pace later in the game.

In the fourth quarter, Harden drove to the rim for a basket and then hit a three-pointer to trim Philadelphia’s lead to five.

Harden hit another three-pointer with just over a minute left to seal the victory.
