CCI reconstitution is permitted by President Arif Alvi.
On Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif‘s suggestion, President Dr Arif Alvi approved the reconstruction of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) on Friday, according to a statement from the President’s Secretariat.
The CCI will be led by the prime minister, with four provincial chief ministers and three federal ministers — all of whom have been selected by the prime minister.
Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Commerce Minister Naveed Qamar, and Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq are among the federal ministers.
