Girl allegedly kidnapped during the Saddar bombing in Karachi.
Late Thursday night, a teen girl was purportedly kidnapped amid a bombing in Karachi’s Saddar neighborhood.
A 15-year-old girl was allegedly taken during the event, which erupted after the explosion.
According to the authorities, the victim’s brother has filed a report at the Preedy Police Station.
The victim’s brother claimed that he went shopping in Saddar with his wife, mother, and sister.
“When the explosion happened, everybody started running and my mother fainted,” he added, adding that when his mother regained consciousness, his sister vanished.
‘Cannot rule out the involvement of foreign agents in the blast.’
Foreign agencies were involved in Saddar, Karachi, according to investigating agencies on Friday.
According to the investigative agencies, the explosion might have been caused by more than one prohibited organization, and the bomb could have been hidden in the bicycle by one of them.
The bombs were built locally, but they were extremely strong. According to the inquiry, the bomb weighed two and a half kilograms and contained ball bearings and explosives.
“Banned nationalist organizations in Balochistan deploy these types of bicycle bombs,” the investigators stated.
The terrorist exploded the explosive when the Coast Guard vehicle arrived at the scene, according to the investigating team, and then left from behind the tea hotel, where he sat for a while after parking his bicycle.
Law enforcement agencies were able to collect CCTV footage of the place.
