A boy assassinates a classmate for calling him “girlish.”
According to source, a boy from Tamil Nadu, India, killed a classmate for bullying and body shaming him.
The boys were 12th grade pupils. The victim allegedly called the suspect “girlish” and mocked him for his appearance. Despite being warned not to, he continued to comment on his “silent” behavior.
The perpetrator was enraged by his classmate’s behavior and determined to avenge himself. He invited the victim to a party, where he savagely stabbed him with a knife and sickle multiple times.
On a highway near the boys’ school, the tragedy occurred. The boy was charged and placed in an observation home by the police.
Dr. Saranya Jaikumar, a member of the State Commission for the Protection of Child Rights, remarked of aggressive behavior in children and teenagers: “Body shaming causes anxiety and sadness, as well as body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). This is frequently expressed as rage or deep depression.”
