Chef expresses genuine emotion while making Lilibet’s birthday cake.

Claire Ptak, a royal chef and baker who made a special cake for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s daughter Lilibet’s first birthday, has revealed her true feelings about making the dessert.

Claire Ptak took to Instagram to share a photo of herself preparing the Lilibet birthday cake with the caption, “It was an absolute pleasure to make this special cake last week for Lilibet’s birthday.” I wish her a very happy new year!”

She described the cake in another post.

“The inside was the Amalfi lemon and elderflower cake I made for the Duke and Duchess’ wedding in 2018, but this time we covered it with a strawberry buttercream made especially for Lilibet,” Claire explained.
