The Sindh government has introduced the vehicle registration facility at home
Karachi: The Sindh government has introduced the facility of vehicle registration at home while simplifying the vehicle registration process in the province. Information, Transport and Excise Minister Sharjeel Memon announced in this regard.
According to Sharjeel Memon, now the citizens will not need to visit the department offices to register the vehicle, but they will be able to complete this task at home. For this facility only a fee of ten thousand rupees has to be paid. Apart from this, the biometric and verification process will also be completed at home.
The minister said that the department recently collected Rs 67 crore in four hours by auctioning premium number plates. He said that the auction of premium number plates will be organized again in September.
Sharjeel Memon also mentioned the cyber knife surgery project and said that this project has been inaugurated by Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that not only people of Sindh but all over Pakistan are benefiting from this facility.
Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon criticized the Punjab government and said that the Punjab government is increasing the electricity prices while the Sindh government is trying to provide cheap electricity. He said that cheap electricity can be generated from Tharparkar coal and this can relieve the country from energy crisis
