The heavyweight champion is mentally stronger ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.
The unbeaten Ukrainian snatched the British icon’s WBA, WBO, and IBF championships from him at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September.
A rematch between AJ and Usyk is scheduled for July 23, with the 2012 Olympic gold medalist aiming to become a three-time world champion.
Although no venue has been announced, promoter Eddie Hearn has stated that the megafight could take place in the Middle East.
He said on: “I believe there’s a big probability you’ll witness that fight in the Middle East on July 23rd. We’re getting close to deciding on that choice.”
Joshua remembers his fights fondly.
AJ could make up to £100 million if the bout takes place in the Gulf country.
Joshua has moved Angel Fernandez from coach to head trainer in place of longtime mentor Rob McCracken following his loss to Usyk.
Clarke, a heavyweight prospect who is also trained by Fernandez, feels Usyk will be mentally better prepared for their second fight.
“I think the loss has made him better,” he told. He’s a little more awake now.
