“Elina, as I said, the weather is truly perfect, just right for walking your dogs…..That’s all from me…,” she said.
Nadezhda finished the report by shaking the dog’s paw.
A weather reporter was interrupted mid-forecast by a cheeky dog which leapt up and stole her microphone.
Nadezhda Serezhkina was telling the viewers how Spring was arriving when the light-fingered mutt intervened.
“Spring has arrived in Moscow, the temperature will be +8C, +9C,” she explained in a live broadcast from the Sparrow Hills overlooking the Russian capital.
The Labrador, named Martin, then jumped up, knocked Nadezhda back and stole her microphone.
“Stop,” the helpless weather reporter shouted.
“Stop, stop, come here…..”
The dog runs off and viewers on Mir TV – a channel broadcasting to the countries of the old Soviet Union – watched on as Nadezhda set off in pursuit.
Back in the studio presenter Elina Dashkueva looked momentarily stunned before explaining that “given all this” the connection with the forecaster had been lost.
Late on she told watchers that “no-one was injured, but the microphone took a bite or two”.
Nadezhda was then seen alongside the proud-looking dog trying to continue her weather report as best she can.
