Man dumps girlfriend for ‘cheating’ after she visits McDonald’s behind his back

A woman says her boyfriend dumped her and accused her of ‘cheating’ after she repeatedly sneaked off without explanation – when in reality she was visiting McDonald’s.

She explains that she had been in a relationship for three years and when they moved in together last year her partner asked her to consider going vegan, the same as him, which she said she had been contemplating doing anyway so gave it a go.

Everything was going well at first until she began “craving Chicken McNuggets like there was tomorrow” and says she even had dreams where she was surrounded by the fast food.

From that point, she began sneaking out of the house to visit McDonald’s “at least twice a week” to satisfy her craving behind her boyfriend’s back, and told him she was visiting the supermarket or running errands.

She wrote on Reddit: “I would then quickly go to the grocery store and buy random s*** we don’t even need so he thinks I really was just at the supermarket.

“I was doing this for months but my ex started getting suspicious and yesterday he blew up at me and accused me of cheating on him because of the amount of times I leave the house and refuse to let him come with me. He then broke up with me.

“Obviously I came clean about the whole thing but he doesn’t believe me. He thinks I’m lying about going to McDonalds and he is convinced I’m just covering up that I’m sleeping with another guy.

“How the f*** can I prove that I haven’t been cheating? I never thought my relationship would end over something so stupid.”
