Andrew McDonald recalls a memorable trip to Pakistan

The Australian coach, Andrew McDonald, described the Pakistan tour as “memorable” on Monday.

The Australian coach told a virtual press conference said he was delighted to return to Pakistan after such a long period and that the visit had gone well in all aspects.

“The Pakistani fans have greeted us with open arms,” McDonald said, adding that Australia won the three-match Test series 1-0, with the first and second Test matches both being drawn.

“I am fairly thrilled to win the Test series against Pakistan as it is not easy to defeat them in their own conditions,” McDonald remarked of the Test series victory.

The Australian coach hailed Babar Azam’s brilliance and praised Pakistan’s comeback in the ODI series.
