‘Was the NSC declaring the opposition traitors or part of a foreign plot?’ Bilawal wonders. Army of Pakistan

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has asked that the Pakistan Army clarify whether the National Security Council (NSC) declared opposition members to be traitors and participants in a foreign plot.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the national security council (NSC) authorised foreign meddling for regime change through no-trust votes after the national assembly (NA) was dissolved following the dismissal of the no-confidence resolution on Sunday.

He told Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders that foreign meddling had been made into the country’s internal politics through the orchestration of a no-confidence motion from the outside.

In the same vein, Bilawal tweeted the Pakistan Army’s spokesperson, asking, “ExPM IK is invoking ‘foreign conspiracy’ to justify his coup.” Will @OfficialDGISPR confirm if the 197 members of the NA were declared traitors and part of a foreign plot at the NSC meeting?

After Pakistan received the letter, he inquired if the foreign office or the defence ministry could show any official correspondence.

“Surely a conspiracy of this magnitude would have been detected by our own intelligence services and other institutions, not simply an ambassadors cable?” Bilawal continued. Pakistan is more vital than Imran’s ego.”
