Without royal links, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are “nobodies” in the United States.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been described as “nobodies in the United States” by Royal Holloway professor Pauline Maclaran.

According to Maclaran, a professor of Marketing and Consumer Research, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have little to no attraction in the United States without Harry’s royal connections.

“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle need to really top up their links with monarchy,” Maclaran told The Sun.

“Without their royal ties, they’re nobodies in the United States, which is where they’re seeking to establish themselves,” she added.

“I believe their unique selling point, to use marketing lingo, is that they provide humanitarian relief, and of course that is true.”
