ISLAMABAD: The Joint Opposition in the National Assembly has sought that a full bench of the Supreme Court consider the matter of the Imran-led PTI government’s constitutional violations and unlawful acts against the constitutional no-confidence resolution in the National Assembly on Sunday.

The United Opposition claimed in a joint statement that Imran Niazi perpetrated an open coup against the country and the Constitution on Sunday, which is punishable under Article 6 of the Constitution. They said Niazi’s defiance of the constitution and the rules of the land deserved the harshest possible rebuke. This day was dubbed “the darkest day in the history of the United States.”
