ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said on Monday that Prime Minister Imran Khan has violated the constitution by dissolving the assemblies due to his conspiratorial mentality.

“The imposition of civilian martial law by Imran Niazi yesterday would be remembered as a terrible day in Pakistan’s history.” On November 3, 2007, Musharraf did the same. He claimed Imran Khan had begun issuing treason certificates. They never called someone a traitor, he claimed.

The PML-N president questioned why, if the purported threat letter was received on March 7, the issue was not mentioned in the NA session on March 24.

He also stated that he will not participate in the temporary prime minister’s consultation. “We demand early elections, but we also want legal improvements before the elections,” he stated.
