The Wanted’s Tom Parker supported a woman who died of the same type of brain tumour.

Tom Parker aided a family dealing with their daughter’s severe brain tumour in the months leading up to his death.

The 33-year-old musician, who died on March 30, became friends with Amani Liaquat, 23, while they were both battling cancer.

“Their journeys, stories of seizures, and so on were practically comparable, so they linked right away,” Amani’s father, Khuram Liaquat, said. The fact that he kept in touch with her, that she had nearly a lifeline from Tom, gave Amani hope and enthusiasm.”

“She was a captive spirit, absolutely isolated since she couldn’t go out while she was sick during the pandemic,” he continued. Tom was in a good mood.
