At least 50 people killed in an airstrike on the Kramatorsk train station
At least 50 people were killed and 98 others were injured in an attack on a train station in Kramatorsk, Ukraine, on Friday.
It was a “Russian missile assault when refugees were waiting to flee an expected Russian invasion in the region,” according to authorities.
The discovery of missile pieces at the railway station was described in Russian with the words “for the kiddies.”
“There were people everywhere,” Yelena Khalenmonva, who heard the explosives from inside the station, said in a statement. People’s limbs, flesh, and bone were ripped off and strewn around,”
The Pentagon released a statement claiming that the Russian military has sent hundreds of extra troops to eastern Ukraine in recent days. “This will be a knife battle,” a senior US defence official stated of the upcoming conflict in the Donbas. This might be a very unpleasant and bloody situation.”
