Cameron Norrie advanced to the final eight of the Barcelona Open.
Cameron Norrie of the United Kingdom advanced to the quarter-finals of the Barcelona Open following a nail-biting match against Marton Fucsovics.
Cameron, who is 26 years old, had to fight hard since his opponent was unwilling to give up in order to win the difficult match by 7-5 6-7 (9-11) 6-4, and he had to make multiple comebacks.
At one point, he was on the danger of losing a set, and he had to break twice to win the first set 7-5.
According to BBC Sport, Norrie’s exceptional and continuous success has included reaching the final eight stages of the Indian Wells tournament in March, as well as two ATP finals in Mexico and the United States in February.
Norrie is now ranked 10th in the world and has three titles to his name.
