Three Pakistan Army soldiers embraced shahadat (martyrdom) while fighting militants in North Waziristan district, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s media branch.

“Terrorists from Afghanistan opened fire on Pakistani troops in the approximate vicinity of Dewagar, North Waziristan, across the international boundary.” According to trustworthy intelligence assessments, Pakistani military responded appropriately, resulting in severe terrorist casualties.
