Governor Punjab will meet with the President and the COAS.

According to source, Punjab Governor Omar Sarfaraz Cheema has planned to meet with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa and President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi to discuss the province’s constitutional dilemma.

According to sources familiar with the situation, Sarfaraz Cheema has also written a letter to the COAS, in which he would highlight the political turmoil that erupted following the oath of CM Hamza Shehbaz.

Not only that, but the Governor has also completed consultations with constitutional experts on the subject in several sessions.

It is also worth noting that the Punjab Governor has written Qamar Javed Bajwa a letter asking his resignation.

Cheema said on Twitter that the present chief minister is keeping the province prisoner, and that he has alerted Pakistan’s Prime Minister and other constitutional organizations about the situation.
