Miley Cyrus believes her ex Cody Simpson is seeking ‘attention’ .

Miley Cyrus has had it with her ex-boyfriend Cody Simpson, with whom she broke up in 2020 after dating for about a year.

According to a source, the Pretty Brown Eyes singer is still talking about Cyrus in interviews, which has her wondering whether he was using her for fame the entire time they were together.

On The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Simpson recently discussed his breakup with the Nothing Breaks Like a Heart singer, saying, “It was a mutual choice between us knowing we were heading in separate areas in our lives.”

“It’s obvious to Miley that he’s just trying to get attention,” a source close to Cyrus told OK! Magazine.

It’s not so much what Cody says that upsets her, but the fact that he’s still talking about her after two years,” the person continued.

“Now this is making her wonder whether he was just using her the whole time,” the source claimed, adding that several people warned Cyrus after she started dating Simpson that he was simply trying to get popularity, which she did not believe at the time.

“She has very much moved on, and she wishes Cody will too,” the source said of the 29-year-old singer, who is presently dating Maxx Morando.

“She’s been respectful and hasn’t called him out for attempting to get clout from her,” the insider said.
