Meghan Markle and Prince Harry chastised for introducing Lilibet to the Queen.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to bring their children, Archie and Lilibet, to the UK for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee has been criticized by royal biographer Angela Levin.
According to the royal expert, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex chose the “wrong timing” to present Lilibet to the Queen.
Royal analyst Angela Levin told GB News that the Sussexes introduced Lilibet to her namesake and great-grandmother the Queen at the “wrong time.”
Meanwhile, Stephen Dixon, the show’s host, said that the children’s arrival could serve as a “useful ice-breaker” between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family.
The parents of two children, 3-year-old Archie and 10-month-old Lilibet, are looking forward to bringing their children to the UK. Ms. Levin, on the other hand, thought that the couple should have introduced Lilibet to the Queen at a more appropriate time.
She had this to say about the GB News announcement: “I believe that bringing their tiny children over at this time is inappropriate. The Queen’s services will be in high demand. She has a lot on her plate for the weekend.”
“It will be difficult for her because she lacks the energy and mobility,” she continued.
Having tiny children who don’t know her come around for tea adds to her burden. They could have come earlier, done it discreetly and nicely, and made it a very personal and small family event.
“However, with so much going on during the Jubilee, it’s the wrong time. In my opinion, it’s just another way for Netflix to make more money “Angela Levin, royal biographer, says.
