The hotspot welcomes unvaccinated British tourists back for vacation.

Spain vacations are once again on the table for Brits who are not completely vaccinated against Covid, since the country has relaxed entrance criteria to allow them to visit for tourism.

Until now, Spain’s borders had been reopened solely to UK visitors who could produce proof of vaccination or recovery from Covid. Unvaccinated children aged 12 to 18 were allowed to travel if they had a negative Covid test.

However, Spanish authorities announced last week that limits would be reduced ‘within days’ for people who have not been twice jabbed – and they have kept their word.

The Foreign Office has actually changed its travel advice for Spain.

Unvaccinated British citizens can visit Spain for vacations under the new entry regulations, but they must meet certain criteria.

This involves having either documentation of Covid recovery or a negative Covid test result within six months after travel.

The latter can be either a PCR conducted 72 hours before travel or an antigen test taken 24 hours before departure.

Speaking of the Balearics, if you’re considering a trip to Majorca or Ibiza this summer, you should be aware of new alcohol regulations for all-inclusive vacations.

To combat inebriated tourists, the Balearics government has imposed a limit on the number of drinks that UK visitors can consume as part of their all-inclusive package.
