In July 2021, the employee learned of her pregnancy and notified her manager, Syma Iqbal, on August 16.

‘The claimant had planned a vacation to acquire a tattoo but was unable to do so due to her pregnancy,’ according to the hearing statement. Ms Iqbal requested to see the tattoo on August 16, 2021, and the claimant replied that she had not done so because she was pregnant.
