Punjab Road Accidents Leave 9 Dead and 1,348 Injured

During the last 24 hours, at least nine people were killed and 1,348 others were injured in 1,311 road traffic collisions (RTCs) across Punjab’s 37 districts.

Rescue medical professionals treated 827 badly injured persons at various hospitals, while 521 people with lesser injuries were treated on the scene by rescue medical teams.

According to the findings, 654 drivers, 38 juvenile drivers, 165 pedestrians, and 538 passengers were among those killed or injured in these traffic accidents. According to the figures, 292 RTCs were reported in Lahore, affecting 275 people, putting the provincial capital at the top of the list, followed by 115 RTCs in Multan, affecting 115 people, and 90 RTCs in Faisalabad, affecting 99 people.
