Russia has threatened to conduct an attack on UK soil
Russia has threatened to conduct an attack on UK soil in response to Ukraine’s military shipments.
Russia has delivered a terrifying new warning to the United Kingdom in relation to ongoing arms deliveries to Ukraine.
According to Maria Zakharova, a spokesman for Vladimir Putin’s Foreign Ministry, strikes on NATO member countries’ military objectives may be authorised.
“Do we understand right that Russia can hit military targets on the territory of those Nato nations that sell weaponry to the Kyiv government in order to disrupt the logistics of military supplies?” she asked.
On Wednesday, Putin appeared to hint at a nuclear assault, telling a gathering of Russian MPs, “If someone tries to intervene in what is going on from the outside, they must realise it represents an intolerable strategic danger to Russia.”
“After all, this directly results in fatalities and carnage on Ukrainian soil.” Britain, as far as I know, is one of those countries.”
“They must understand that our response to counter-attacks will be lightning quick.” Fast.”
“We have all the weaponry we need for this,” he said. Nobody else can boast about these weapons, and we won’t either. But we’ll make use of them.”
It comes after Russia warned that NATO armaments were a “legitimate” target in Ukraine, and that British diplomats in Kyiv may be targeted as well.
Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that “nuclear” activity posed a “serious” threat, and that the probability of World War III was now “substantial.”
Lavrov also stated in a wide-ranging interview carried on state television that the heart of any agreement to halt the crisis in Ukraine would be heavily reliant on the military situation on the ground.
The Putin supporter was questioned about the necessity of averting World War Three and whether the present situation was equivalent to the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, a low period in US-Soviet ties.
According to Lavrov, Russia is doing a lot to defend the concept of avoiding nuclear war at all costs.
“This is the key point on which we build everything. The hazards are now significant “Lavrov said.
“I would not want to intentionally increase such dangers. Many people would enjoy that.”
“Everyone is saying incantations that in no situation can we allow World War Three,” the hardline foreign minister stated on state-run Channel 1 television’s Bolshaya Igra (Big Game) show.
“The threat is grave, genuine, and should not be underestimated.”
It comes after President Vladimir Putin’s new ‘big beast’ hypersonic 208-ton 15,880mph ‘Satan-2’ intercontinental ballistic missile vowed to ‘wipe Britain off the map’ on Russian state TV.
The first regiment to utilise the new ‘unstoppable’ missile will be in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, and it will be operational this year.
“As it turned out, one Sarmat equals one Great Britain minus one,” claimed pro-Putin TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov, threatening the UK in a nasty comment to viewers.
The warning was made because the British had become “completely boorish,” the popular host dubbed “Putin’s voice” remarked, ostensibly referring to the UK’s continued backing for Ukraine.
Russia’s two-month-old invasion of Ukraine, the worst attack on a European state since 1945, has killed or injured thousands, destroyed towns and cities, and caused nearly 5 million people to flee abroad.
Moscow refers to its operations as a “special operation” to disarm Ukraine and safeguard it from Nazis, a notion that Ukraine and its allies have widely and continuously disputed.
In justifying Moscow’s actions, Lavrov blamed the absence of communication on Washington.
“The US has effectively ended all communications just because we were obligated to defend Russians in Ukraine,” Lavrov said, reiterating Moscow’s justification for its invasion of its southern neighbour.
However, he said that Western supply of sophisticated weaponry, including as Javelin anti-tank missiles, armoured vehicles, and advanced drones, were provocative moves designed to prolong rather than terminate the battle.
“These weapons will be a valid target for the Russian military acting in the parameters of the special operation,” Lavrov added.
“Storage facilities in western Ukraine have been targeted on many occasions (by Russian forces). How could it be any other way? “He continued. “NATO, in essence, is fighting a proxy war with Russia and arming that proxy. War is a war.”
