Our government should have been replaced with more capable individuals.
Imran Khan, the chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated on Saturday that if his administration had been overthrown, it should have been replaced with “more qualified” individuals.
Imran Khan claimed in a message to Pakistanis living abroad that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and members of his party are facing criminal charges.
He claimed, “Father [Shehbaz] is on bail, and son [Hamza Shehbaz] used to take modest sums of money.”
Criticizing the current administration, the PTI chairman claimed the “most corrupt man and his party leaders have been foisted on the nation,” adding that “this is not only a conspiracy against Pakistan, but also an insult.”
People will sing slogans of chor (thieves) and ghaddar (traitors) wherever the Opposition leaders go, the PTI chairman said in response to the Masjid-e-Nabawi incident.
“They brought a blasphemy prosecution against us when people screamed slogans against them,” Imran Khan stated.
According to the former prime minister, he has never been anti-America or anti-Europe.
“We want to be friends with other countries, not their slaves,” he continued.
He has good relations with former US President Donald Trump and his administration when speaking to Pakistanis living abroad. “I have been opposing the war for 15 years, but one of our officials threatened and entangled our country in their war,” he said, adding, “America is used to getting its work done from here.”
He continued, “Pakistan had no concern with the 9/11 conflict,” but Pervez Musharraf intervened after the US threatened Islamabad.
Imran Khan stated that the PTI government had received an invitation from Russia, that the two countries were already in talks about gas, and that the United States was furious with Russia for fixing oil prices at low levels.
Imran Khan, speaking about his deposed government, claimed he was aware of what was going on against him in July, as talks with opposition figures and PTI dissidents at the US embassy grew. He believed that overthrowing a government through a conspiracy was the cruelest thing he could think of.
He claimed that the US has threatened Pakistan with dire consequences.
