11 people killed and 5 injured as gunmen attack hotels and bars.

Eleven people were killed and five others were injured after gunmen opened fire on a hotel and two bars in Mexico.

The heinous crimes took place at the Gala hotel and two bars in the Lindavista neighborhood of Celaya, northwestern Mexico City.

The attacks began around 10 p.m. local time on Monday night.

Police and emergency personnel raced to the scene after witnesses reported hearing more than 30 gunshots.

According to source, a gang of armed guys wearing hoods arrived in two trucks.

According to witnesses, roughly 15 guys initiated the attack on the hotel and a nearby pub.

The attackers allegedly used improvised bombs to burn the front of two establishments before fleeing the scene.

According to local press, the perpetrators left a card with an alleged statement relating to organized crime groups.

Ten individuals died at the spot, and one died in the hospital from their injuries. The identity of those killed are unknown at this time, however according to local press, two men and two women died in the hotel, and five women and one guy died at the bar.
