Balochistan leaders convene tribal jirga to address regional challenges

Senior government and military officials gathered for a comprehensive tribal jirga in Pishin District, Balochistan, demonstrating a multi-stakeholder approach to addressing regional concerns.

The high-profile meeting included Governor Balochistan Jafar Mandokhel, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti, Corps Commander Lieutenant General Rahat Nasim Ahmed Khan, Inspector General FC (North) Abid Mazhar, and prominent local leaders and community representatives.

Participants actively engaged with diverse community members, including women and local notables, to understand and discuss local challenges. Governor Balochistan emphasized that the peace jirga’s primary objective was to listen to public concerns and expedite their resolution.

Chief Minister Bugti articulated a balanced approach to regional peace, stating that while dialogue would be the preferred method, force would be employed where necessary to maintain stability.

Corps Commander Balochistan reaffirmed a commitment to defending every inch of the motherland, highlighting the military’s dedication to national security.
