Harnai blast claims 10 lives, six injured in Balochistan

A tragic bomb blast near a vehicle in Shahrag, Harnai has left 10 coal mine workers dead and 6 others injured, according to Levies officials.

Authorities confirm that the explosion occurred near a vehicle carrying coal miners, all of whom were from Swat. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Condemnations and Government Response

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, extending heartfelt condolences to the victims’ families. He directed local authorities to ensure the best medical care for the injured and reaffirmed his commitment to eliminating terrorism from the province.

He emphasized, “Terrorists targeting innocent civilians deserve no leniency. We will continue decisive action against those disrupting Balochistan’s peace.”

Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan also expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives, stating, “It is heartbreaking to see innocent workers being targeted. Our security forces are actively working to prevent such heinous incidents.”

He further added that those who attack innocent civilians deserve no mercy and prayed for the deceased and their grieving families.
