Banks in Pakistan to remain closed on this date
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and all public and private financial institutions across the country will remain closed on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.
In a notification issued by the central bank, it was announced that December 25 would be observed as a public holiday in honour of the 148th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
December 25 holds significant cultural and historical value in Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Day is marked by ceremonies, tributes, and reflections on the ideals and vision of the nation’s founder.
