Two men are struggling for their lives in hospital.

At around 5.30 p.m., emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident at Hammersmith Town Hall in West London.

Both guys had possibly life-threatening injuries when cops, paramedics, and fire services arrived, and they were brought to the hospital.

Several vehicles were observed approaching the site.

“An inquiry has been initiated after two men were hurt after scaffolding linked to Hammersmith town hall collapsed late on Wednesday afternoon,” a Met spokesperson said.

Firefighters and officers from the Metropolitan Police Department.”

The London Air Ambulance landed at Furnival Gardens, Hammersmith, after the scaffolding structure collapsed.

“At 17:41hrs on Wednesday, 11 May, police were called to an incident at a construction site in King Street, W6,” a LAS spokesperson stated. Officers were dispatched to help the London Ambulance Service and the London Fire Brigade.

“Two males were discovered with possibly life-threatening injuries and brought to a hospital in central London. The Health and Safety Executive has been notified of the situation.”

It was attached to Hammersmith Town Hall, and was part of their new ‘Civic Campus.’

On Kings Street, the new space includes new residences, a cinema, and a council facility.

The incident is still being investigated.
