The college where an instructor died on Covid “encouraged workers to violate pandemic rules.”

According to a new investigation, a college where a teacher died of Covid advised colleagues to ignore pandemic restrictions and even threw a Christmas party for all staff.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has identified Burnley College as the first educational facility to have violated health and safety standards during the epidemic.

The findings followed an HSE inquiry into Donna Coleman’s death in January of last year.

The findings revealed that the college failed to “meet social distance and ventilation criteria” at an office Donna shared with two colleagues, despite the fact that one tested positive.

Furthermore, personnel at the further education college were advised not to report their “close contacts.”

“Well, Covid doesn’t exist at Burnley College – do you not know?” she added. Burnley, on the other hand, has one of the highest rates in the country.”

Stephanie encouraged her sister to file a complaint, but Donna refused because she was terrified of losing her job.

She stated: “We talked every day. We were quite close when she stated, “Steph, I’m afraid for my work; I can’t afford to be late.”

Stephanie stated that her sister began to feel ill during the second week of December, 2020, as more and more instances at the college began to appear.
