To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, the Duchess of Sussex invited volunteers to a Grenfell community kitchen.

Meghan Markle left a “lovely voice message” at the Hubb Community Kitchen, asking “how we are, about our children and families, and giving us news of hers.”

The group said in a Facebook post that the mother of two – Archie, three, and Lilibet, one – was “just being her beautiful kind self.”

The Hubb Community Kitchen was founded by a group of local women.

After the devastating 2017 fire, a group of local women gathered to prepare fresh food for their families and neighbors, the Hubb Community Kitchen was born.

Meghan worked with volunteers to create and write the foreword to their award-winning charity cookbook, Together: Our Community Cookbook.

According to report “I recently discovered this photo of us all taken on the day our cookbook was released.

The Duchess had wrapped a book for each of us and written a lovely message on the first page for each lady “‘She was just being her lovely, kind self.’

Meghan returned to the United Kingdom earlier this month to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with the Duke of Sussex, Archie, and Lilibet.

She appeared alongside Harry at the service of thanksgiving held to commemorate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

On the fifth anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a memorial service with survivors and bereaved.

Kate and William were among those who observed a 72-second silence at the base of the Tower of London in honour of the 72 men, women, and children who died in 2017.

Applause erupted at the end of the silence.

Hundreds gathered in the tower’s shadow for a multi-faith service.

Before taking their seats in the front row for the service, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chatted with attendees.
