The summer anthem “Left and Right” by BTS’ Jungkook and Charlie Puth is everything we didn’t know we needed.

Our summer playlist also includes Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” and the recently released song “Left and Right” by BTS members Jung Kook and Charlie Puth.

On June 24, Puth posted the music video to his YouTube page, which showed the musicians acting silly while dressed in colourful apparel.

In the two-and-a-half minute song, Puth and Jungkook sing, “Memories follow me left and right, I can feel you over here, I can feel you over here, you take up every corner of my mind.”

On Twitter, fans came together around the upbeat song. The best part of the music video, in this user’s opinion, was Jung Kook’s facial expressions.

This user simply requests a behind-the-scenes video of Jung Kook discussing the music video and how unique it is from others they have seen.

Earlier this month, word of their collaboration surfaced, but there was speculation that it would involve the full K-pop group rather than just one individual. The song is the first by a member of BTS to be made public following the group’s announcement that it is taking a sabbatical to focus on its individual projects. Instead of only referring to Jungkook as a solo artist, the song refers to him as a member of BTS on both YouTube and Spotify.
