The entire UK city stinks of manure, disgusting residents.
The stench has been reported across Plymouth, Devon, since this morning, with locals taking to Twitter to complain about the stench, which a local farmer believes is caused by “muck spreading.”
Residents in Plymouth are up in arms after discovering that many parts of the historic city stink of manure.
As the overpowering honking stench was noticed in a number of areas, residents took to social media.
According to report, the pong extends from the city’s Millbay and Stonehouse areas, with residents in Stoke, St Budeaux, and Saltash experiencing the stench as well.
One local farmer speculated that the odour could be coming from his farm.
Reach’s Sarah Elmes, who is based in the Devon city, took to Twitter to report the foul odour and soon discovered that it wasn’t just her area that was affected, with others left holding their noses.
“Can anyone tell me where the stench of manure is coming from?” she wrote.
“It stinks in Saltash too, I think it’s farmers spreading sewage on the fields,” one local responded.”
They always wait until the weather is nice, but it stinks here. I believe it came from a farm and is infecting all of us!”
“We’ve got it here as well,” said another. It’s so bad that the cat finds it offensive.” It’s unclear where the foul odour is coming from, but it definitely smells like manure.
