A UFO ‘flew circles’ around police helicopters.

A former US Homeland Security officer has revealed what he saw while working at the Mexican-American border, including what he believes were UFOs.

According to the Debrief, newly released video and testimony from a former Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agent revealed multiple encounters with “aerial objects” that appeared to manoeuvre “well beyond the capabilities of a conventional aircraft.”

The footage has left some veteran pilots perplexed and questioning the nature of these objects.

One former CBP agent has broken his silence to provide his own explanation for the bizarre events.

Mr Thompson recalled that as a federal agent, one of his responsibilities included establishing reporting requirements for “Unexplained Aerial Phenomena” within the Tucson Sector.

According to Mr Thompson, the government’s systems, which are normally tasked with catching drug smugglers or stemming the flow of illegal immigration, have captured a number of these bizarre incidents, just like the military.

“We have guys out there 24/7 with their eyes to the sky looking for smuggling, but they see other stuff,” he explained.

“This isn’t just happening at the Department of Defense,” former Homeland Security agent Robert “Bob” Thompson explained.

Thompson began his career with the US Customs and Border Protection Agency in January 2008, after 11 years in the US military and a stint as a Paramedic and Hazmat Technician with a Tucson area Fire Department.

Thompson worked on the “special operations side” of federal law enforcement for 14 years, guarding America’s southern borders.

“I joined what they call our mobile Response Team, which is one of the three tiers that comprise the Border Patrol Special Operations Detachment. “Flying was one of my strong suits. My primary responsibility was helicopters, as well as some of the other aerial platforms and partner agencies with which we collaborate.”
